Virtual Registration

ICASSP 2020 has been re-envisioned as a virtual conference, for the safety of our community and to offer an inclusive experience.  This major redesign is allowing us the opportunity to reduce expenses and expand content offerings. We are pleased to announce that IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) is offering ICASSP attendance as complimentary to any attendees that are not covering a paper, with the goal of being able to bring cutting-edge ICASSP sessions to our community around the globe.

We hope that this offering reaches new members of our community and creates engaging discussions within the virtual conference platform.

Refund Policy

Please visit the following page https://cmsworkshops.com/ICASSP2020/VirtualConversion.asp and login using your credentials in your confirmation email. On the registration website, you will find the list of papers that are currently linked to your registration. Simply de-select the papers you do not want to cover with it. Note that you will only be able to de-select a paper if there is some other author that is currently covering it with his/her registration. Registrations linked to, but not covering any papers, will be refunded as a non-author. Please consult with your registered co-authors to determine whose registration should cover your paper.

 Registration Fee:

One full registration will still be required to cover the paper publication and presentation, but ICASSP is being planned as a break-even conference. For those who have purchased a full registration and linked their paper, only one registration fee is needed to cover up to four papers. As soon as all conference expenses have been finalized, remaining surplus will be reimbursed to reduce the registration fee paid by these author registrations.

Registered non-authors will be reimbursed for their registration fee, with options and details listed below.

Additional Items Purchased:

Any additional items purchased will be reimbursed for all registrants. This includes banquet tickets, tutorials, special events and program booklets.

Reimbursement Process:

To serve the varying needs of our community, reimbursements can occur three ways:

  1. Carry forward your registration and additional item purchases to ICASSP 2021, to be held on 6-12 June 2021 in Toronto, Canada. By choosing this option, you can reserve your space for next year.
  2. Refund back to the method of payment. Refunds can only be processed back to the method of payment, in US Dollars, less a US$50 processing fee. For student registrations, IEEE SPS will pay the processing fee.
  3. Donate your registration to the IEEE Foundation SPS Student and Young Professional Fund, to fund future support and activities for students and young professionals in our community. Additionally, if a refund is not claimed by May 8th, these unclaimed refunds will be donated to this fund.

To obtain your reimbursement, please visit the registration page and login using the information provided on your registration confirmation email. You will be prompted to select your refund type, and will receive a confirmation email upon this selection. If you do not claim reimbursement by May 8th, you will be ineligible and your registration fee will be donated to the IEEE Foundation SPS Fund for Students and Young Professionals
