Lecture Presentation

Each presentation time slot is 20 minutes including lecture, discussion (questions and answers) and transition. Therefore, the speakers are expected to make best use of the slot and leave sufficient time, 3-4 minutes, for questions and transition to the next speaker. Each presentation has its own time slot which cannot be changed or shifted. The room location and lecture times for each talk are posted on the technical program website and on the conference app.

Presentation slides should be uploaded to the laptop in the session room prior to the beginning of the session from USB drives and the presenter should inform the session chair of their presence prior to the session as well. Only Adobe Acrobat files (.pdf) and Power Point presentations (.ppt or .pptx) will be accepted, as the available software on the laptops in the session rooms includes Adobe Acrobat Reader and Microsoft Office. PDF format is highly recommended.

The presenter is responsible for knowing how to use the corresponding software. Audio Visual Technicians will be available to provide technical support.

Poster Presentation

Presenters should arrive at the session room before the session starts (during the break prior to each session) in order to mount their poster. They must check in with the Session Chairs and remain with their posters throughout the presentation. Failing to do this may lead to marking no-show or absence of the author.

Poster panels will have a size of 187cm (width) x 95cm (height) suitable for A0 size posters in landscape orientation (see picture below). Posters should be a mixture of a brief text mixed with tables, graphs, pictures, and other presentation formats, summarizing the information concisely and attractively.

Please remove your poster at the end of your allocated session. Posters left mounted to the boards after end of the session will be removed and disposed of.
